Two years ago we decided that it was time for us to have Y’s first intern in the house. Needless to say, it was not an easy decision. Being a small company, the inclusion of another person brought along lot of questions…what if the intern doesn’t fit in? What if we’re not what the intern is searching for? What if… what if??
As with anything in life at one point, one needs to stop asking questions and move on. Following an intensive research and Skype interviews, we selected the first intern, who in turn selected us amongst other offers. We wanted to make sure that the internship served its’ purpose and that the intern got the opportunity to work within our sector. To cut a long story short, that’s how we met Bogomila, a Bulgarian student studying in Holland.
Forget taking it easy, Bo was at work as from day one. Soon enough we were discussing strategies and campaigns while meeting with clients. She was committed as ever and her determination to learn stood out.
It was indeed a positive experience, which actually led Bo to suggest our second intern. She spoke to us of her class mate, Anne, who was also following the same studies and had actually visited Malta before.
Following another Skype interview, our very own Dutch lady, Anne, was on board. At the office, she was diligent and was soon leaving her mark with the different jobs she was entrusted with. Communication was bliss and Y Ltd was proud of hosting yet another 5 star intern.
Today, both of them are back, this time working on their respective final thesis project which will lead to the end of a life chapter and the start of a new one.
We’re super glad to have them back, also in time to celebrate Y Ltd.’s 5th anniversary.
Благодаря ти, dank je, grazzi
